Take a look at the personal branding photo session with Kim Lombardi, done on location in her neighborhood in Carlsbad, CA.

Kim is a realtor with California Residential Consulting and she had a very specific goal in mind with her branding photos … to be seen as a local expert for her neighborhood of Mar Brisa, the beautiful, idyllic, family-friendly neighborhood which sits on a hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean to the west and with views of the mountains to the east.

Kim shared a funny anecdote about her dog being recognized more than her in the neighborhood. She walks Wrigley every day and her neighbors immediately recognize him and they all love him (I mean, you can see for yourself how freakin’ adorable and sweet this dog is!!) But Kim realized that without Wrigley by her side, her neighbors often didn’t recognize her. So we decided to use Wrigley strategically – he was going to be part of this photo shoot!!

We also decided to feature another character for Kim’s personal branding photos … the neighborhood of Mar Brisa. This served as a backdrop for many of the photos, further reinforcing Kim’s status as a local expert.

And I brought in Ashley Lopez, of Array of Style, to assist Kim with her wardrobe. Ashley came to Kim to do an initial closet audit and to talk with Kim about what she felt she needed in her wardrobe and to strategize about what to wear for this shoot. Ashley also did a personal shopping session with Kim and pulled some specific looks for her from J. Crew and Nordstrom. I love the outfits that were selected for this shoot! And getting the right clothes makes a huge difference in creating great photos.
