Video Tip for the modern man – how to dress for your professional portrait

I teamed up with Lauren Castle, an Image Strategist and Style Advisor with Impress Express, to discuss how men should dress for their professional portraits.

business portraitWe brought along our mutual client, Daniel Gawrys, to model for us. Daniel is an Executive Coach & Educational Consultant.

In my opinion, Daniel defines the modern business man. In his line of work he needs to appear polished and professional, but he isn’t required to wear a suit. He knows that dressing right is important but he doesn’t want to spend a lot of time fussing over his clothes and his image.

The first thing Lauren said to me is that every industry is different and it really depends on who your audience is and what kind of image you’re looking to portray. But one thing remains the same no matter what line of work you’re in — make sure your clothes represent your personal style. And, most importantly, get a good tailor.

Lauren has some really great tips to share with men. The topics she covers in this video include how to look professional in denim, how pants should fit, the importance of tailoring, accessorizing, and grooming.

I learned a lot from Lauren! Hope you do too.

Gentlemen, if you’re looking to update your professional image, I highly recommend reaching out to Lauren. And then, come see me for your updated professional portraits!
