I reached out to Marcy to get photos for my company’s rebrand and shared my vision for what I hoped to achieve. Marcy handled everything: booking the makeup artist, coordinating all the details, and brought in an assistant who helped curate outfits for both my coworker and me to complement each location — talk about attention to detail! The entire experience was high-level service from start to finish.

Leading up to the shoot, she sent all the details, including the schedule and locations, helpful tips, and even reviewed the outfits I’d chosen. The day itself was a treat — starting with makeup at her studio, capturing photos at her studio and around San Diego.

I’m constantly squatting and bending while working, so I need to know that I’m tucked in properly while I’m doing my thing. Jumpsuits to the rescue!

My favorite style is from @goodamerican , I have it in multiple colors.

I was on a quest to find the perfect jumpsuit (ladies we all know the intricate dance of finding a jumpsuit that fits our particular body shape AND is restroom friendly) I rented several styles from @renttherunway until I found the cotton candy pink jumpsuit from Good American, and my search was over. The jumpsuit has now become my work uniform.

Fun fact, my girl @kelseymkurtis wears the exact same jumpsuits to her branding photography shoots. So, it’s officially a branding photographer thing. Who else wants to be in the cool girl club? 😂😂✨✨

It’s our 1 year van-iversary!!!

My husband and his dad and I created this van with Brendan from @gone_mobile_vans and we couldn’t be more stoked to be living the #vanlife

Before having our dream van, we rented 19 different RVs and camper-vans. We learned a lot, and began dreaming of our perfect van.

Rick and I were super clear on what we wanted: a small van that was uber simple but effortlessly comfortable and durable for our outdoorsy lifestyle. ✨🚐

I also manifested a van that I could use on photoshoots, as a mobile changing room and makeup station. 🤩🥂📸

Mission accomplished.

2024 has been the year where we lived our Van-tasy (sorry, the van puns are endless!)!

Currently we’re on a van trip to Scottsdale. We just arrived at the most gorgeous desert campsite, where we’ll celebrate Christmas. 🤶 🌵 🧑‍🎄🚐

Hands down, the most epic location for team photos, for the Emerald Real Estate Partners team. We got access to the helicopter pad on the rooftop of Emerald Plaza, overlooking San Diego Bay.

This team manages this incredible property, we did headshots in their beautiful lobby and ended the day with a foggy rooftop team photo.

Every part of this property has stunning views of downtown San Diego, who wouldn’t want to work here?!!!

Every year I’ve documented this family. My dear friend Beth has raised 2 bright, beautiful, bold kids and I love watching them grow up. I especially love holiday card season because it’s a reason to document family bonds and to be a witness to each persons exact moment in time.

This team from Edward Jones had me cracking up as I listened to how they interacted with each other. At the end of their photoshoot I asked them to make this reel with me. We all were howling with laughter after each take.

Thanks Amber and Mason for demonstrating how to NOT act during a team photoshoot.

Contrary to what you see here, this team has one of the warmest and most heartfelt partnerships. Mason brought Amber into his firm several years ago and she has won awards for being a super star in their industry. He’s so supportive of her and values her opinion and her contribution to his financial planning business. This chemistry and mutual respect shines through when you are with them. Their clients are lucky to have them!!!

When your friends request an awkward family photo, here’s what you get!

Lauren, Cassidy and Stacy came to me with several ideas, each one awkward and funny. We did these photos at the Oceanside Harbor and at Buccaneer Beach. I laughed the entire time!!!

These 3 lives together for the better part of 2024, so they wanted to capture this vibe for their holiday card.

Lauren and Cassidy are married, and Stacy is their friend from their Marine Corps days.

Happy Thanksgiving from Pee-wee Herman (who photoshopped his face over mine. And I couldn’t be more delighted about this)

This is a stock photo I created and posed for in 2005, when I was selling stock photography. Someone took this photo and made the turkey huge (ok sort of funny…) but then Pee-wee did his magic and made it truly hilarious. Not just his photoshop job, but the glee in which he shared this photo every year. Since he’s no longer with us, I post this for him today!! @peeweeherman
