Branding photos for San Diego journalist and military veteran
Amy Forsythe is an award-winning journalist and military veteran with more than 25 years of experience in storytelling, public speaking and multimedia content creation.
From the moment you meet Amy, you know you’re talking to a woman who is smart and articulate and admirable. Personally, I was incredibly impressed by her history as an enlisted U.S. Marine Corps combat correspondent and military journalist.
Amy Forsythe started her career as a U.S. Marine Combat Correspondent based at Camp Pendleton and has covered troops in combat in Iraq and Afghanistan during her five tours. (yes!!!! 5 tours of duty!) She also worked as a local TV reporter, producer and host for KOCT and NBC 7 in San Diego.
Amy has traveled and lived all over the world and she’s currently a Public Affairs Officer stationed at Camp Pendleton Marine Corps base in Oceanside, CA.
She’s published a book called “Heroes Live Here: A Tribute to U.S. Marines of Camp Pendleton since 9/11” featuring stories about sacrifices in combat and community support over the past 20 years.
We created these photos for her to use while marketing her book and speaking tour. I even got to do photos of her on Camp Pendleton where she showed me the mission bell and trail that runs along the remote corner of base!
