Personal branding photos for San Diego financial planner
Marianne Nolte, the owner of Imagine Financial Services, was crystal clear on what she wanted to capture in her branding photos.
As a San Diego native, Marianne grew up loving the water. She loves boating, spending time at the ocean and also hiking along the river in her home of Fallbrook, California. Water was a theme that emerged for her branding photos. When people think about financial freedom and the perfect retirement lifestyle, often they envision themselves at the beach or enjoying time at the water — so we specifically incorporated this water element into Marianne’s photos. This speaks both to her love of the water and to her client’s ideal lifestyle.
When I asked Marianne about her time in the water she kept mentioning her father, who was a boater and a lover of sailing. She brought many special items to her photoshoot including a barometer and binoculars which belonged to her father. And her wooden pelican, which she named Sonny in honor of her father, made an appearance in many of her photos.
It’s the personal touches like this that help Marianne’s clients (and future clients) feel like they know her and can relate to her on a personal level. Marianne radiates warmth and has a megawatt smile that makes you easily smile in return. We captured all of this in her branding photoshoot.
Marianne specializes in holistic financial planning and especially loves working with women, so I knew we had to capture her feminine vibe but also show that Marianne is a smart, approachable, capable financial professional.
