What Pam Anderson can teach us about controlling the narrative
Pamela Anderson created lots of buzz when she attended Paris Fashion Week without her signature blonde-bombshell hair and makeup.
This metamorphosis started long before Paris Fashion Week. In her revealing and vulnerable documentary, Pamela, A Love Story, she is completely makeup free and happily living a quite life in Vancouver, Canada.
As I watched this documentary I was so impressed with her honesty and found myself rooting for her, as she boldly took back the narrative of her story.
Pamela Anderson is the perfect example of someone who was defined by others for years. As she grew older and wiser it became important for her to be the person who defined who she is.
This is what I want for everyone: myself included!
We get to decide how we show up in the world. We get to decide what kind of face we present as our “brand”. We get to control the narrative.
This is the kind of work that is deeply meaningful to me.
As a brand photographer, my goal is to help you put yourself out into the world in a way that is truly aligned with the person you are TODAY, in order to attract your RIGHT FIT clients on repeat.
The whole process starts with a Branding Brainstorm. Before your photoshoot, we meet to talk about your brand. I ask you questions about how you want to show up. We’ll talk about your marketing strategy and we’ll work together to create photos that support your vision.
