Branding photos for Alaray Creative, in San Diego

Allison, the founder of Alaray Creative, lives in Tennessee but works extensively with Life Science and Biotech companies in San Diego. Her lead designer, Korte, lives in San Diego so they booked a photoshoot with me, while they were together in San Diego. 

They just unveiled their new brand – Particle 31!!

I knew I was going to be perfectly aligned with Allison when I read her website. “We believe in doing good work with beautiful impact at Alaray Creative”. Alaray Creative is a design and marketing firm that provides an array of services. 

They act as a remote “marketing department” for startups that have professional marketing and design needs but don’t need a full-time marketing person internally. 

Alaray Creative is undergoing a major rebranding to better align with their ideal clients in the Biotech space. To support this rebrand, we created photos that speak to Allison and Korte’s creative side. The mission was to establish Allison as the lead of the company. She and Korte wanted to “look like experts without trying.” We wanted to capture their expertise but not in a snotty, off-putting way. They needed to convey a confident “I belong here” vibe. 

We started at my photo studio in Oceanside and then headed to the beautifully designed One Paseo Plaza in San Diego, which offers beautiful buildings that could represent a design-lead team which speaks directly to the biotech market.
