So, I’m not just excited that I get to present to a room full of like-minded, heart-centered women (to be honest I’m a little nervous about that!). What truly excites me is the subject I get to speak about …

For a long time I’ve been wanting to share the concept that confidence can be gorgeous. As a photographer, when I see a woman show up and “own it” in front of the camera, I see all of this beautiful energy oozing out of her and it comes through in her photos.

But, let’s be honest, many of us women do NOT have the natural ability to step in front of a camera with all the confidence in the world. In fact, many women downright shrink in front of the camera and all they see are their many “flaws” and that’s all they can talk about.

I hear it almost EVERY time I photograph a woman: “I don’t like my {insert body part here}” or “can you make my {insert perceived flaw} look {desired effect}”

So with this in mind, at the Dare To Be DINO event, I will show you how to “own it” in front of the camera … starting from the outside and working to the inside. I’ll share tips and tricks for selecting wardrobe and posing, and then I’ll present some techniques for finding that elusive confidence and self love that can ooze right into your photos.
