Branding photos for MFD Real Estate Group
The team at MFD Real Estate Group recently relocated from Northern California to the San Diego area. They brought their daughter, Marcie, into the company making it a family business.
With this new iteration and location for the MFD Group, we took photos for their new website and marketing.
We chose the Mission San Luis Rey as our location, to capture that southern Californian vibe which is the perfect backdrop for their company’s story.
And, as an extra benefit, we added Marcie’s husband to some of the photos, because as it happened he was terribly sick on their wedding day so they wanted a re-do on some of their couple’s photos. Glad I got to capture updated photos for them!
Kierstin Reilly has been a friend and ally since I started my business in 2014. I’ve seen her expand and grow through several career changes. She’s always been someone I’ve loved working with – whether that’s taking photos for her businesses, or capturing photos of her growing family.
When Kierstin came to me for updated brand photos, to support the current version of her career and document this phase in her life, I was excited to work with her again.
We spoke about what kind of photos to create for Kierstin, and it was clear to both of us that we needed to capture her in a polished but real way – nothing too perfect or posed, we wanted her photos to feel professional but also down-to-earth — just like Kierstin!
We started at my photo studio in Oceanside then moved to the iconic Mission San Luis Rey in Oceanside, a location that is near and dear to Kiestin’s heart as well as a location she visits often.
