Family photo shoot + video | Orfila Vineyards, Escondido
When Kristi and I started talking about capturing her family for portraits, we knew we had to choose the perfect location. A location that reflected the stylish and friendly nature of this close-knit family. As a wine lover, Kristi fell in love with the idea of having her family photographed in the romantic rustic setting of a local vineyard. So Orfila Vineyard & Winery in Escondido, CA which is nestled in the picturesque San Pasqual Valley was the perfect location!!
Kristi’s three daughters aren’t all in the same place very often, since Danielle attends college in Arizona and Shelbey lives in Los Angeles. But since the family was all together for Christmas, it was the perfect time for the photo op. Kristin’s two adorable granddaughters, Savannah and Presley, were so well behaved and loved to pose for the camera. Whenever I photograph little girls in dresses and sparkly shoes, they love to show off for the camera and these two were no exception. Something about a pair of fun shoes can really make a little lady so happy!
I’m thrilled that we finally got a family photo of this gang, and I am still in love with the beautiful scenery. If you’re a wine lover in San Diego, a trip to Orfila Vineyards is a must – they have a lovely terrace overlooking their vineyards and they even have a family friendly section so you can bring your young kids and pets.
