Family Portrait Session: Hardin Family | Balboa Park | Marcy Browe Photography | San Diego, CA

I photographed the Hardins in Balboa Park in downtown San Diego. This is a beautiful location for photos — the Spanish-Renaissance architecture and the pretty trees and landscaping make a perfect spot for family portraits.

Drew and Nicolle and their kids, Erin and Brett, moved to San Diego from the Las Vegas area five years ago. They live in Encinitas (one of my favorite coastal towns!) and they all love living the Southern California lifestyle.

Drew and Nicolle expanded their independent insurance company, Advanced Brokers Insurance, from Las Vegas to San Diego.

Erin and Brett attend La Costa Canyon high school. Brett plays lacrosse (an MVP recipient, thank you very much!) and Erin recently returned from a trip to Europe with her high school’s Debate team. I asked Erin about her trip and she just lit up as she told me about her travels to Paris and London. Clearly she’s been bitten by the travel bug!

Shortly after we did these photos, the Hardins and I were both in Bend, OR for summer vacation. Nicolle’s parents live in Bend and her sister’s family was also in town – so we did a family photo session for all 10 them! Check out those photos here.
