Scripps Pier beach photos | Alexis, Nicolas and Kai

Alexis received a gift certificate for a family shoot with me for her baby shower. Her “baby” is now 15 months old! But it’s never too late to redeem a gift certificate for family memories. I’m so glad she and Nicolas found time to document their beautiful family.

We picked Scripps Pier and the beach near there in La Jolla for a fun shoot at sunset. Kai loved running around and playing in the sand. Thankfully they brought an outfit change for him because it didn’t take long to get wet and sandy!

Nicolas is a great father to Kai and he got his little man to giggle every time he lifted him over his head into the sky. And I loved watching Kai snuggle up with his mom, he loves her so much and that melted my heart. These two sure are lucky parents!! And I’m so honored that I got to capture Kai at this really fun and active age.
