The hidden costs of brand photography

I like when information is straight-forward, uncomplicated, and upfront. Just give it to me straight, no chaser, thank you very much.

That’s why I offer an all-inclusive, “no hidden costs” brand photoshoot package. 

While this package is an initial investment up front, in my opinion, you GET a lot more bang for your buck with an all inclusive model. 

If you’re reading this, you’re probably wondering “what are these hidden costs you speak of?” 

These hidden costs of brand photography can add up to an expensive final price:

• Location rental
• Access to all your photos
• Retouched photos 
• Professional hair and makeup
• Licensing fees

These are all included in my full day brand photoshoot package. 

Here’s WHY these elements are all included in my full day brand photoshoots
(and how this benefits YOU!):

Having a dedicated photo studio is an investment I made in my business 6 years ago. A photo studio of my own allows me to design this space for YOUR photoshoot. 

My photo studio is the perfect location to start your photoshoot, with hair and makeup styling done on-site, and then you stay at this location to create photos. 

No rushing, no checking the clock to stay inside the rental window. It’s our space to play with! 

If you want to use a specific location for your photoshoot, sure, you can rent your ideal kitchen or dream home by the ocean or a modern office for your team photos. I can help you find that perfect location. But it’s not required to produce a high-end photoshoot. I’ve got you covered! 

Many photographers “upsell” you after the photoshoot by only offering you a handful of images and allowing you to purchase additional photos from your gallery. This is NOT my jam, I allow you to keep all the photos I share in your album. 

A few weeks after your photoshoot, you will get all of your best photos sent to you. These will be color corrected and lightly retouched and you’ll be able to download them all immediately. 

I don’t hold photos hostage or watermark them until you pay me extra.

You get to KEEP ALL THE PHOTOS we create on your brand photoshoot day. 

Having a variety of options and crops is essential when you’re creating graphic design pieces. You might need a wide, horizontal photo with lots of room for text for your website banner, or a vertical tight crop for your Instagram stories, or a square photo for your social media feed. No need to choose ahead of time, you’ll get LOTS of options because I send you all of your photos. 

Not only will you get to keep all the photos we take during your brand shoot, you will be able to choose your favorite photos for additional professional retouching. 

Retouching includes removing blemishes, taming flyaway hair, smoothing wrinkles in clothing, editing out weird objects from the background. Whatever it takes to make your favorite shots from your photoshoot polished and ready to use, I’ve got you covered. 

When I deliver your album of photos, I include instructions for choosing your favorite images for retouching.

I include the cost of hair and makeup in my all-inclusive brand photo package. I have vetted a handful of incredibly talented glam professionals, who I have worked with for years. They know exactly how to create the look you want, so you feel like yourself.

When clients aren’t happy with their hair and makeup and it sours their photoshoot experience. Not on my watch! I only hire the best of the best (and I micromanage this experience), so you can feel confident that your photos will look like YOU! 

When you work with me, there are no confusing licensing fees or hidden costs for using your photos. 

Once you pay in full, you have full rights to use your photos however you want, wherever you want and however you want. And yes, you can put whatever filters on your photos. I don’t charge you a licensing fee or require you to tag me on social media or credit me. Of course I LOVE when you credit me when you use your photos, but this is not required.
