He’s arrived almost 2 weeks late, but James Bennet Nelson is finally here! In November, we captured the maternity photo session with his glowing parents and furry brother, Sage.

Patty and Brad’s first baby, their cinnamon colored husky, Sage, was part of the family photo session because he is truly a member of their family. The whole time we were shooting, Sage wanted to be near Patty and Brad and was content just to be close. He is one of the most well behaved dogs I’ve ever met!

They said they wanted a woodsy, rustic setting for their pregnancy portraits, so we went to Guajome Park in Oceanside which is perfect for the outdoor lover. And for doggies!

I love the way Patty and Brad were so loving and fun during our session, I know they are going to be wonderful parents and I am so excited to meet their new baby James!
