Shelby and Dan’s engagement portraits | Balboa Park, CA

Everything about this engagement session left me feeling happy and light hearted!! You know when you spend time with people that leave you better than how you showed up?? That’s how I felt about photographing Shelby and Dan for their engagement portraits.

The way they looked at each other, the way they treated each other, they way they inspired each other to be silly and fun…. that is love. I am so happy for these two because they are a perfect match and they are getting married in September.

They had the idea to do a Sean Connery-era James Bond theme for their shoot and they NAILED it!! I loved that Dan even got a perfect red carnation for his tux.

Since they are both actors, Shelby and Dan know how to ham it up and have fun, while also being sophisticated and glamorous. And I LOVE that combo!!
