We are fortunate to have this beautiful landscape surrounding us here in San Diego. And pretty much any day of the year is a GREAT day to take photos!
Below are some of my favorite locations for family photos. I hope this helps you decide where you want to capture YOUR next family photo session…
Leo Carrillo Ranch, Carlsbad
This location is filled with wonderful vignettes and areas to photograph your family. Keep in mind that dogs are not allowed here, so this is not a location to include your furry members of the family.
La Costa Omni Resort, Carlsbad
Fun location that is best for small families. This resort is kid-friendly and beautiful.
Buddy Todd Park, Oceanside
This park is a great place for families and also a perfect spot to include dogs in your family photo.
Guajome Park, Oceanside
A park full of walking trails and fields, also dog friendly!
Balboa Park, San Diego
The iconic Balboa Park is full of beautiful areas for photographs. The architecture is part of the charm of this location.
Beaches
There are so many wonderful beach spots up and down the coast of San Diego. Keep in mind, that only one beach allows dogs and it’s typically very crowded… so adding your dog(s) to beach photos limits your options.
