Happy Boss Day … to ME! After years of working for other people it feels really good to be my own boss.

I was having this conversation with my mom this week... While working for yourself presents a whole set of challenges and struggles and stress (specifically when it comes to money), there’s such freedom and flexibility in being your own boss.

Many of my clients are their own boss too. They get to call the shots. They get to decide what clients they work with. They get to decide what kind of impact they making this world.

Captured at their Vista, CA facility for @innovate78 as part of a project to showcase the thriving companies who make north county San Diego their home.

This season I’m busy photographing companies all over north county: biotech, electric car manufacturers, eye glasses for kids, cold brewed coffee, airplane telecom, chocolate maker, surfboard shapers, tech for fast food restaurants, and of course lots of beer brewers.

I LOVE getting a behind the scenes glimpse of all of these different companies. North county San Diego is THE place to work and live!!
