Corrie Wiik, Founder of Llamitas Spanish
This collaboration between myself and Corrie Wiik, the Founder of Llamitas Spanish has been the highlight of my year!
Corrie came to me at the beginning of the year, with the vision to spend 2025 capturing photos and videos to support the rapid growth of Llamitas Spanish – a set of curriculum to help families raise bilingual and biliterate children.
Corrie started as a blogger, sharing about the Spanish education she was using with her families. When she realized there was a critical gap in the resources available to raising bilingual kids — specifically with curriculum that provided strong academics for Spanish phonics, math and literacy… so she created her own! And in the process, she created a set of products that are in high demand throughout the US and beyond!
Cut to Corrie needing to shift her mindset from a Mom-blogger to the CEO of of Llamitas Spanish. Her home storage was busting at the seams and she had to move all of her inventory to an off-site warehouse and fulfillment center, she has team members all over the world helping her create content.
In other words, she was blowing up!!
We worked together to ensure her photos and videos embodied her brand:
Trustworthy, formal but personable, “we’re alongside you”, accessible, real people who care about you and your journey, strong educational background, well thought out.
We mapped out our content strategy, capturing photos and video in a strategic order throughout the year, to tell the company’s story AND to capture videos that provided deep detail and explanations about what was included in each course level.
And then came the fun part! We hired family models for each course level, to show real families teaching their kids in a home environment, enjoying these beautiful products together.
Seeing the kids interact with these products was a true joy. I could tell that the kids instantly connected with the books and workbooks and stories and music that is included with these products. They didn’t have to “pretend” to be interested — they really were!
