Keeping my hands to myself has been a challenge

The month of May has brought some much-needed rays of light to me and to many other business owners who were affected by the mandatory shut-down. I am happy to report that in the last few weeks, I’ve been BUSY with photoshoots!!

A month ago, I was feeling very disheartened because of the small business shut down. None of us saw this coming, and as someone who likes to prepare and plan, this was certainly NOT in my forecast!!

But I felt a visceral shift at the beginning of May. Are you feeling it too?

At the beginning of May, I began receiving many beautiful inquiries for photoshoots. I truly felt buoyed by the indication that people in my community were ready to work and create.

You may be asking: how are you doing photoshoots while adapting to the new protocols? Well friends, it turns out it’s not that difficult to produce a full photoshoot while remaining responsibly distanced.

Although, I AM such a toucher during photoshoots, it’s not easy for me to remain hands-off during a photo session. I’m the girl who’s gonna lean in to fix your hair and adjust your shirt so you look your best … so keeping my hands to myself has been a challenge, but I’ve got this under control!

I am currently working with a large tech company here in San Diego to provide a full-day photoshoot of their employees at their campus, all within the regulations required by their facilities and HR departments.

Here are a few behind the scenes looks from some recent photoshoots I’ve done:

If you’ve been thinking about a photoshoot, now is a great time to connect with me to talk about ideas.

I love the conversations I get to have with people about their branding and their marketing goals. This all informs what type of photoshoot we’ll create for you.

Stay safe and I promise: I’ll keep my hands to myself (for now!)

Marcy this is great! I’m glad you’re able to continue to work while adhering to social distancing guidelines. People still need photos taken – pandemic or not! I’ll email you to set up a shoot.
