Before and after photos: the magic of a little glam

Everyone loves a good make-over story! From home make overs, to weight loss stories, to beauty transformations, the process of going from a “before” to an “after” is intriguing to see.

When I watch my clients receive hair and makeup and wardrobe styling prior to their portrait shoot, it is truly a make-over happening right before my eyes.

Sometimes I’ll snap a “before” photo of my portrait subject when they arrive for their portrait session.

This is not because they look bad or wrong when they show up fresh-faced without any hair styling in their comfortable clothes. It’s because I want to communicate that the final photos we see are a result of hard work.

I want to show you that this experience doesn’t happen by accident. It requires both emotional and physical work. A willingness to be seen and to be vulnerable in front of my camera. An openness to receiving the best hair, makeup, and wardrobe styling available from a trusted team who knows how to help you own your spotlight moment.

This is a celebrity experience for the every day woman. And EVERY woman deserves to feel beautiful!! Don’t you agree?!
