Patty Berg is the owner of Wishing Tree Company, a service that allows you to gift trees (which are planted for you by the team at Wishing Tree!)

With its near-perfect climate, San Diego County is the ideal place to plant and grow premium quality trees that are guaranteed to thrive. As a long-time resident of Leucadia, California, Patty knows all the native variety of trees and plants. I got to witness this knowledge put to the test as we spent time on the grounds of the Mission San Luis Rey in Oceanside, during the height of the super bloom.

Patty is dedicated to the sustainable movement and I have gotten to know her through Naturally San Diego organization, a group that builds a flourishing ecosystem for natural products and services in San Diego.

It didn’t take us long to know we were like-minded and had much in common. It was a pleasure for me to photograph Patty in her “native habitat”!
